The newly launched Cameron the Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em> accompanies with a skull fossil model by ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang was reconstructed based on the latest research results.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creative Activities in Children\u2019s Space<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PNSO Dinosaur Museum Creative Activities in Children\u2019s Space Solution: Cameron the Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em> and Tyrannosaurs Scientific Art Exhibition is part of the \u201cPNSO New Aesthetic Education Project: Join ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang to Creating Amazing Stories on Earth\u201d which is facing to the children aging 6 to 12. In this solution, we provide two scientific art activities.
Activity I<\/strong>: PNSO Dinosaur Museum Scientific Art Exhibition of Cameron the Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em> and Tyrannosaurs: Explore a Scientific Art Exhibition.
Activity II<\/strong>: PNSO Dinosaur Museum Scientific Art Exhibition of Cameron the Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em> and Tyrannosaurs: Join Us in Creating a Scientific Art Exhibition.
Children participating in the activity will learn about designing an exhibition, from planning and preparation to presentation and visiting. They will also participate in the planning, design, and presentation of an exhibition.
We take exhibition, a specialized scientific art activity, as a means to integrate science and art. Children will learn about classification in biology, understand the laws of evolution, and get ideas about the differences between individuals and why the differences exist. They will be able to compare things according to logical rules, have a preliminary sense of creating characters, and eventually use artistic means in an exhibition to share they thoughts.

In the world of dinosaurs, perhaps no one could match the Tyrannosaurus rex.<\/em> They were not the largest carnivorous dinosaurs, but their extremely strong intrinsic qualities made them absolute kings. Cameron was an outstanding leader of the Tyrannosaurus rex <\/em>herd and the father of Wilson the Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em>, your famous friend in the PNSO Dinosaur Museum. It was a well-respected king, one that inherited the family’s brave traits. Countless times, it had led the herd to fight for honor and survival, and its spirit had influenced generations of young T. rex. In this exhibition, we will enter the scientific art world of Cameron the Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em> and other equally brave tyrannosaurs and explore their paths to bravery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

02 \/ Meiguan the Guanlong<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meiguan the Guanlong <\/em>was a tyrannosaur that lived in the Late Jurassic and also another ancestor of Cameron the Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em>. They had many differences. Meiguan had a larger forelimb-to-body ratio. Also, Meiguan had three sharp claws on its hands, while Cameron had only two. Its body was covered with feathers and had a beautiful crest on top of its head. This crest was not solid but a tool for display, helping Meiguan attract the opposite sex. Therefore, the crest was important for the success of reproduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

18 \/ Tyrannosaurus re<\/em>x <\/em>Skull Fossil<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cameron was reconstructed based on “Sue,” the famous Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em> fossil specimen that had 85% of the original skeleton. The picture shows what its skull looked like when it was initially excavated. This was not the first time researchers saw the skull of a Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em>, but this skull is special in many ways, for example, it has traces of injuries. At first it was thought that it was bitten by another tyrannosaur, but it was later found that this may be traces of a parasitic infection, which caused the death of this dinosaur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
