Three scientific art books from the PNSO Encyclopedia For Children series, titled The Secrets of Dinosaurs<\/strong><\/em>, The Secrets of Pterosaurs<\/strong><\/em>, and The Secrets of Ancient Sea Monsters<\/strong><\/em>, have been officially published in Korean. The PNSO Encyclopedia For Children series, written by YANG Yang and illustrated by ZHAO Chuang, is an original work of PNSO. The licensing of the Korean edition was arranged via the agent CA-LINK International.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All works in this series come from the research results of \u201cDarwin: An Art Project of Life Science\u201d of \u201cPNSO\u2019s Scientific Art Projects Plan: Stories on Earth.\u201d Mr. ZHAO Chuang, PNSO\u2019s scientific artist, strictly follows available scientific evidence throughout his creation by building his artistic framework based on fossils and scientific data. He restored skeletons, models, and ecological environments from fossils to make these both scientifically rigorous and artistically creative. Based on the latest scientific research, Ms. YANG Yang, PNSO’s science writer for children, introduced us to various dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and marine reptiles in vivid, intriguing, and rigorous scientific words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restoration of each animal strictly follows scientific discoveries and integrates scientific findings into artistic creation, ensuring early childhood enlightenment of accurate science and aesthetics. In terms of the text, we thoroughly considered this series for young readers and introduced each creature to children in impressive and absorbing language. The brief description does not cover all the animal\u2019s characteristics but elaborates on its uniqueness. If children want to understand the animal comprehensively, we also designed a fixed small column to list basic facts. This can let the children directly obtain information about the animal\u2019s body size, diet, period, fossil origin, and more. In addition, each animal is also designed to be compared with objects that children are familiar with in scale, such as cars, so that they can have a more intuitive understanding of their size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
