The PNSO Fun Facts Jigsaw Book Series is an original publication by PNSO. This Traditional Chinese edition is published and distributed by Windmill Group, with the licensing arranged through the International Cooperation Department of Dolphin Books.
This series adopts a novel jigsaw book format, featuring fun science facts on the left and jigsaw puzzles on the right, making it both educational and entertaining, as well as aesthetically pleasing and practical. Each volume contains six scientifically and artistically reconstructed scenes. The inside jigsaws gradually become more challenging, which is combined with fun science facts, allowing readers to explore the world of the Mesozoic Era. The PNSO Fun Facts Jigsaw Book Series focuses on the dinosaurs and perosaurs that once inhabited mainland China and their life on Earth, helping readers to understand those ancient creatures from mainland China.
All works in this series come from the research results of “Darwin: An Art Project of Life Science” of “PNSO’s Scientific Art Projects Plan: Stories on Earth.” Mr. ZHAO Chuang, a scientific artist, strictly follows available scientific evidence throughout his creation, by building his artistic framework based on fossils and scientific data. He restored skeletons, models, and the ecological environment from fossils, to make these both scientifically rigorous and artistically creative. YANG Yang, a science writer for children, adopts vivid and engaging text to help readers gain a deeper understanding of the fun science facts behind the jigsaws.
