Who is Nick the Ceratosaurus?


Nick the Ceratosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived in North America during the Late Jurassic. It comes from the Ceratosauridae. Compared with other carnivorous dinosaurs, it and its peers were better at hunting as a team.

How did ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang create Nick the Ceratosaurus?


The Size of Nick the Ceratosaurus

Among many carnivorous dinosaurs, Ceratosaurus was relatively small. Based on fossil research, we set Nick the Ceratosaurus‘s body length at 7 meters for the scaled-down reconstruction.

The Head of Nick the Ceratosaurus

Nick the Ceratosaurus looked quite weird, especially its head, which featured a protruding nasal horn and large lacrimal horns. Its mouth was full of sharp, curved teeth.

The Body of Nick the Ceratosaurus

Nick the Ceratosaurus had a robust body, short forelimbs, slender hind limbs, and a long, thick, and powerful tail. Altogether, it looked no different from other carnivorous dinosaurs.
