On 7th December 2022, PNSO introduced a new member Thabo the Suchomimus to join the grand dinosaur family of the PNSO Prehistoric Animal Models series. Let’s get to know it with some details.

Who is Thabo the Suchomimus?
Thabo the Suchomimus was a spinosaurid dinosaur, but it did not spend most of its time in the water like Spinosaurus and was more adapted to the dry land.

How did ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang create Thabo the Suchomimus?
The Size of Thabo the Suchomimus
According to scientific research on the fossils, the model Thabo the Suchomimus was set to 9.5-11 meters to scale down when we did reconstruction.

The Head of Thabo the Suchomimus
The teeth of Suchomimus were relatively curved, and the nostrils were located near the anterior of the mouth. Suchomimus did not have lips, so its teeth would be exposed when it closed its mouth.
The Forelimbs of Thabo the Suchomimus
The two forelimbs of Suchomimus were long and stout, and its claws were covered with keratinous sheaths.
