Who is Duke the Spinops?

In 1916, a group of fragmentary fossils were discovered and placed in a museum for 100 years before researchers began to study them. Based on these fossils, scientists named the Spinops.

How did ZHAO Chuang and YANG Yang create Duke the Spinops?

The Size of Duke the Spinops

According to scientific research on the fossils, Duke the Spinops was set to 6 meters long to scale down when we reconstructed the scientific art model.

The Head of Duke the Spinops

Spinops had four prominent sharp horns at the middle top of its head frill: one pair was quite long, and the other was relatively small, curving forward. Besides, it had a loop of small spines along the margin of its head frill. Spinops only possessed two protrusions instead of large brow horns above the eyes. Its nasal horn was not short, slightly tilting upward.

The Limbs of Duke the Spinops

Duke the Spinops had a sturdy body with robust limbs and preferred foraging low plants on the ground.
